Relax — it's simpler than it sounds
Automation, servers, APIs, AI agents — it sounds like a wall of jargon. Good news: you don't need to understand any of it. That's literally what you hire us for. This page explains in plain language what happens when Firmatic builds something for you.
What happens, step by step
First the foundation: we set up an account on a VPS — simply a rented computer running 24/7 in a professional data centre (or we use our own server, your choice). We install the software on it and configure everything for your company. You install nothing, update nothing, and need to understand nothing.
What are those 'accesses' we ask for?
Depending on the project we'll ask for a few keys. Your SMTP details, for example — simply the login that lets a system send e-mails on your company's behalf. Or an API key — think of it as a hotel key card that opens exactly one door: it gives our system access to one specific part of a service and nothing more. And just like a hotel card, you can revoke it at any moment. We never ask for more access than the system truly needs.
You don't need anything prepared
What exactly is needed often becomes clear only during the build — and that's normal. When something comes up, we ask for it at that moment and walk you through finding it, step by step. Nobody expects you to know where your DNS settings live.
Contact throughout the build
While building we stay in direct touch with the owner or a designated contact person — via whatever channel you prefer. We report progress, show working versions and ask questions at the moments where your knowledge of the business matters. No weeks of silence, no surprises at delivery.
There are no stupid questions
Seriously. Half our job is building technology; the other half is making it understandable. Ready to just give it a try? Start the free automation scan — it takes a minute and commits you to nothing.
